Permanent Lighting Track & Aluminum Channel
Extruded aluminum track powder-coated to your trim color. It hides the wiring and holds every light at even spacing — for Govee and Lumeva permanent lights.
The track is the part that decides whether permanent lighting looks like architecture or like a string of lights somebody forgot to take down. It is an extruded aluminum channel screwed along the fascia or soffit: the lights sit in punched openings at even spacing, the cable runs inside, and a cover snaps over the top so only the light itself shows.
Every profile here is 6063-T5 architectural aluminum with a 6mm wall, powder-coated to any RAL Classic colour before it ships. What differs between them is the light they are punched for — so the profile follows the lights you own, not the other way round.
All lengths are the same flat $3.11/ft, with no small-quantity surcharge, from 100 ft.
Standard shipping is free and arrives 12 to 16 days after it ships. Express is quoted at checkout and arrives 4 to 8 business days after it ships.
Which profile fits what
The openings are punched for a specific light. The profiles are not interchangeable.
| Profile | Fits | Piece length | Opening spacing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Govee Original | Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Original, v2 and Elite | 2.7 ft | 16 in |
| Govee Pro | Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro | 3.3 ft | 20 in |
| Lumeva | Lumeva permanent outdoor lights | 1 metre (3.28 ft / 39.4″) | 18 in |
Opening spacing is the pitch of the holes punched in the track, which is not the same figure as the spacing of the lights on the strand — the track is punched tighter so there are spare holes to position lights into.
Common questions
- How do I know which track profile I need?
- Go by the lights. Govee Original, v2 and Elite share one profile and Govee Pro has its own, and the model number on the box tells you which you have. If you are buying Lumeva lights, the Lumeva track is punched for them.
- What colour does the track come in?
- Any RAL Classic colour, powder-coated before it ships. You approve a proof of the colour, lengths and quantities about two working days after you order, and nothing is cut or coated until you do.
- How much track do I need?
- Measure the roof runs you want lit rather than the perimeter of the house. A front elevation is usually about 120 to 150 ft and a full wrap of the main roofline about 200 to 300 ft. Add 5 to 10 percent for mitred corners and cuts.
- Can I cut it to fit?
- Yes — it cuts on site with tin snips, which is how corners are mitred and how a run is finished against an edge. Corner and end caps are available in white or black to close the joints.
